Comedy Central has renewed Adam Devine’s House Party for a second season.
According to Deadline, the stand-up hybrid series received an eight-episode order to air in 2014. The show takes place at an LA mansion where up-and-coming comedians perform on a backyard stage. The show includes scripted storylines with stand-up.
“Giving Adam Devine money to throw a house party stand-up series proved to be so irresponsible, we couldn’t resist doing it again,” Kent Alterman, President of Content Development and Original Programming for Comedy Central.
Avalon Television produces the series. The show is also executive produced by Devine, Jon Thoday (Avalon), Richard Allen-Turner, David Martin, Isaac Horne and first season director Kyle Newacheck.
