ABC’s freshman hit drama, Big Sky, is adding two new actors this season. The two will play a powerfully wealthy father and son in the David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies, The Undoing) series.

According to Deadline, Levine will join as a series regular portraying Horst Kleinsasser, an old-money rich man whose failing health has him eyeing an heir to the family business. Schmid will recur as John Wayne Kleinsasser, Horst’s youngest son. A traditionalist when it comes to their ranch empire, he is brazen in his attempts to oust his older brother from inheriting the reins of the family fortune.

The series is based on the novel, The Highway, by author C.J. Box (Dark Sky, Long Range), according to Deadline. Kylie Bunbury (Pitch, Under the Dome) and Katheryn Winnick (Vikings, Wu Assassins) star as two investigators, P.I. They must fight time to catch the suspect before he claims another victim. Kelley and Box are executive producers along with Ross Fineman (Goliath, Lights Out), Matthew Gross (Across the Universe, Body of Proof), Paul McGuigan (Lucky Number Slevin, Wicker Park), and Gwyneth Horder-Payton (The Walking Dead, Tyrant).
