Stephen Dorff returns to an agency he has a long-standing association with, ICM Partners. He recently signed with the talent agency, according to Deadline.
Dorff’s current work can be seen on the recent installment of HBO’s True Detective alongside Mahershala Ali (Luke Cage, Green Book) and the titular character in the Fox drama series Deputy. The Fox series aired for one season, but Dorff was casted in “one of the biggest talent deals of the 2019 pilot season”, as acknowledged by Deadline.
His other feature credits include Blade, The Outsiders, Immortals, Public Enemies, World Trade Center, Cold Creek Manor, The Power Of One, Cecil B. Demented, Star, I Shot Andy Warhol, and Somewhere. Dorff’s upcoming work includes Embattled, where he stars as MMA fighter Cash Boykins. The film was written by David McKenna (American History X).
Dorff also has a fair share of experience producing and writing. He was a producer and co-writer for the 2017 indie country music film Wheeler, in which is starred, composed score and wrote every featuring song. He also was the executive producer for Felon, Skip Tracer, Brake, Zaytoun, and Don’t Go. There are multiple more projects in differing stages of development through his La Cosa Productions. One of these projects is a TWA Flight 800 miniseries at eOne TV from David McKenna which Dorff is set to be executive producing.
The first few talent agencies he worked for were UTA, Gersh and Resolution, and he spent the past six years at Paradigm. Now, he continues his career under ICM Partners.
