Despite Season 6’s production wrapping just last month, one of the more popular Marvel Cinematic Universe spin-offs may speed-track its way to an early start on Season 7 according to some reports. ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D received a renewal for a seventh season back in November, and according to Discussing Film on via Twitter, the show eyeing an early February 2019 production start in Los Angeles.
This will come as a welcome announcement to fans of the series. Despite its longevity, the series has previously been on the brink of cancellation before, but with the early renewal and sped-fast production, it should calm the nerves of the Marvel TV fandom. That said, the Marvel empire has recently been under fire with the massive cancellations of its more critically-acclaimed and wide-spread series on Netflix. But, the ABC. serial adventure series has maintained its popularity over the years, and with the inclusion of Phil Coulson in Captain Marvel, the series is likely to surge a bit in the rating department.
So, the hit series seems to be safe for the time being. Then again, all of these shows are just one Thanos snap away from fading away into the brink of infinity. But, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D has proven to be anything but a flash in the pan.
