The show is based on The Baker and The Beauty series that Assi Azar created for Keshet Broadcasting. The series is based in Miami and follows Daniel Garcia (Victor Rasuk) who works in the family’s bakery and does what his family expects from him. One night, he meets Noa Hamilton (Nathalie Kelley), an international supermodel and the daughter of a hotel magnate, and his life changes.

The cast also includes Carlos Gomez, Belissa Escobedo, Lisa Vidal, Dan Bucatinsky David Del Rio, and Michelle Veintimilla.

The series is produced by ABC Studios with Keshet Studios and Universal Television. The other executive producers include Assar, Rachel Kaplan, Avi Nir, Alon Shtruzman, and Peter Traugott.

The original Israeli series has already aired two seasons, the first produced by Shenhar and the second by Endemol Israel, according to Deadline. It is one of the highest-ranked TV series in Israel. The original series has also aired in the U.K. on Channel 4, and in 2017 Amazon bought the worldwide rights. The two seasons are available on Amazon Prime.
