CBS is getting The Advocate, a drama written by Ayelet Waldman. It tells the story of a former doctor who has found her calling as a medical advocate. Now she can solve medical crises and mysteries on behalf of her patients and loved ones. Carol Mendelsohn and CBS TV Studios will producer. The executive producers of The Advocate are Mendelsohn, Julie Weitz and Judy Smith.
ABC bought a drama based on the Spanish series Fragilles. The project is still untitled and centers a trauma surgeon who has a near-death experience. After this, he decides to treat the patients who are facing psychical challenges. The writer of the project is Thompson Evans and he will executive produce with Bob Sertner.
