The world of Prime Video’s highly acclaimed series, The Boys has just received words from its creator, Eric Kripke (Supernatural, Timeless), who goes on to state on the series placement. According to IGN, The Boys has taken the world by storm, with its terrifying blend of its intense graphic violence and dark comedy to light up the mood. The current plot of the final season will see intense battle between Butcher, played by Karl Urban (Star Trek, Mortal Combat II) and Homeland, played by Anthony Starr (Cobweb, Banshee), with the fate of earth on the line.
Reported in an interview with IGN, Kripke goes on to give his perspective about the route that the final season would take,”I’m totally bummed out to say we wrote it before the election. It sounds super naive now, but I swear the plan was, ‘Let’s write a 1984 version of what creeping authoritarianism looks like in America,’ and maybe everyone will be like, ‘Whew, we really dodged a bullet.’ But instead, we got hit with the bullet.”
Stated by IGN, Homeland himself, Anthony Starr gives a statement about his final performance as the iconic iconic series antagonist,” This complicated character allowed the space and range to discover and push boundaries in a way I never expected and I will always be grateful for this experience.” Kripke goes on to give a hilarious reply to Starr’s statement,”We created a monster, sir. And I will miss him, and you.”
Stated by IGN, the series’ final voyage promises an emotional sendoff and action-packed battle moments that will keep fans of the franchise on the edge of their seats waiting for the final climax. The final season of The Boys is scheduled to makes super landing on Prime Video on April 8, and while awaiting on further infromation the prior seasons, as well as the spin-off, Gen V are accessible to stream on the platform.
