

Exciting news has been buzzing around social media about the exciting second season of Ahsoka, which comes in the form of a behind-the-scenes video that showcases Eman Esfandi (Red 11, The Inspection) doing some lightsaber training. According to Screenrant, the main story behind the series was Ahsoka, played by Rosario Dawson (Daredevil, Sin City) and Sabine, played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo (Wish Dragon, Day Shift) on a mission to stop the return of General Thrawn, played by Lars Mikkelsen (A Caretaker’s Tale, The Team), while searching for the lost friend. The last time we saw Ezra was when he safely made it back to the rebel base and regrouped with Hera, played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Sky High, Gemini Man).

Screenrant states, Esfandi had posted various instagram stories showcasing the process of the filimging is going. One of the stories sees the actor sitting on wooden structure and someone throw a water bottle at him to catch with the caption,”Practicing to catch lightsabers.” The actor’s second story states,”15yr old Jedi training”, showcasing a teenager version of the actor using a rack pole back in his parent’s store in 2010 as makeshift lightsaber.
Reported by Screenrant , these social media stories could symbolize that Eman will play a more prominent role in the upcoming second season and that his character will be more self assured and powerful. The video also shows the actor’s dedication in perfecting the role and not only to honor the character he plays, but to elevate it to another level. The brief glimpse has increased anticipation for the next chapter of the sci-fi series.
