A HBO Max Holiday Wrapping Paper Pop-Up Was Crashed By ‘I Love LA’ And ‘Heated Rivalry’ Cast Members To Surprise Fans

HBO Max launched the holiday season in Los Angeles on Wednesday with a special activation at Westfield Century City. The event offered complimentary gift-wrapping services using bold and irreverent paper designs based on the platform’s most famous shows. Attendees also had the chance to meet stars from the fan-favorite series Heated Rivalry and I Love LA.

Attendees were invited to bring their own items for free professional wrapping, with paper designs inspired by a wide range of popular shows. The selection featured patterns celebrating everything from classic hits like The Sopranos and Sex and the City to newer favorites such as IT: Welcome to Derry, The Pitt, Heated Rivalry, and I Love LA, according to HBO Max’s press release.

HBO Max says famous stars from I Love LA, like Rachel Sennott (Maia), Jordan Firstman (Charlie), and True Whitaker (Alani), showed up alongside Heated Rivalry breakout star Hudson Williams (Shane Hollander).

The event saw hundreds of gifts professionally wrapped, with each one triggering a charitable contribution from HBO Max. These proceeds benefit No Kid Hungry, a non-profit organization specifically selected by the cast members who attended the pop-up.
