

Netflix has just released the first official trailer for the fifth and final season of the platform’s popular supernatural series, Stranger Things and promises a thrilling battle between Hawkins and the Upside Down. According to Screenrant, the creators of the series, the Duffer brothers, as well as the cast goes on state that the final season will be,”biggest season we’ve ever had, in terms of action, in terms of visual effects, in terms of story.” The members of the series such as Finn Wolfhard (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, It), David Harbour (Violent Night, Thunderbolts) and Sadie Sink (Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Fear Street Part One: 1994) recounting their journey throughout the years.
Stated by Screenrant, the trailer opens up with a montage of scenes from the beginning of the series, then transitions into the final season, which is a desolate landscape where Hawkins is beginning to merge with the Upside Down. Millie Bobbie Brown (The Electric State, Damsel), who plays Eleven within the series, gave a deeper dive in the upcoming season, saying it’s “more of a mission, more of an adventure,” and that “Everybody is really put into the thick of it. No one is sitting back on a walkie-talkie.”
Screenrant reports that viewers get a deeper dive into the upcoming journey that the group will be facing, with Will and Eleven being more affected due to their deeper connection with the Upside Down. In one part, we see the group within a radio tower possibly trying to send a message to the citizens and directing them to get to safety. One thing is for certain: the stakes have never been higher, as the fate of all Hawkins is on the line.
While waiting of the final season which will be split into three parts, with the first scheduled for November 26, the second for December 25 and the finale for December 31, all previous seasons of Stranger Things are available to stream on Netflix.
