A Delicious Return of ‘The Bear’ For Season Two

Hulu’s hit show The Bear is returning this summer. According to Esquire, Hulu has officially announced the premiere of the show to be June 22, 2023.

Hungry fans are awaiting to see where Carmy and Sydney’s journey takes them after the closing of their restaurant, The Beef. We can only predict that their story in season two will embark on their development of a new restaurant, as Carmy was left with a large sum of money by his brother at the end of season one.

To feed into the excitement even more, there have been new additions to the cast with familiar faces from the world of television. Bob Odenkirk, with his most notable Emmy award-winning role of Saul Goodman in Better Call Saul and its predecessor, Breaking Bad, has joined the line-up. However, the details of his character and role in the story for season two are uncertain, but we have been hinted that he may be playing a “guest role” according to Esquire. We shall see how this plays out next month. Another notable name that has been written into the cast list includes none other than Molly Gordon, whose other works include Shiva Baby, Booksmart, and most recently, You People. Fans can also watch Gordon from her other television credits, including Animal Kingdom and Ramy.

Jeremy Allen White (Shameless) will be returning in his role as Carmy, and Ayo Edebri (Big Mouth) will be reprising her role as Sydney. According to Variety, showrunners Joanna Calo and Christopher Storer have described the second season as “will home in on hospitality, taking care of others and making the cast’s lives a bit bigger.” It was also noted that Carmy will still struggle with the death of his brother.

And there you have it. The upcoming developments of The Bear sound as alluring as always, so if you’re hungry for a great season two, tune into Hulu’s The Bear next month and see what’s on the menu.
