Buzz on the internet for the second season for Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again is buzzing with theoriesfor a certain heroes’ return. Reported by Comicbook, the character in question is no other then Luke Cage, played by Mike Colter (Evil, Plane), who first appeared back in 2016. If the speculation is true, this will be the first time in a while we will see Luke Cage fight alongside Daredevil, played by Charlie Cox (Spider-Man: No Way Home, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law), and Jessica Jones, played by Krysten Ritter (Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Breaking Bad), since The Defenders.

According to Comicbook, an announcement by New York Comic-Con gave further details into who will be joining Matt Murdock’s army and fighting against Kingpin’s played by Vincent D’Onofrio (Echo, Hawkeye). The prospect of Luke Cage re-entering the MCU has audiences eagerly awaiting official confirmation.

In the first season of Daredevil: Born Again, there was a reference to Luke Cage, as indicated by a billboard advertising the nightclub Harlem’s Paradise in Times Square. This suggests that its cooperative operations within it were still ongoing. According to Comicbook, the anticipated return of the bulletproof hero could reveal what happened to him in the series finale when he took over the nightclub and became the new crime boss.
