Rumors have been swirling around the DC Comics property for weeks now. The series pick-up joins Lucifer and Titans in DC Comics’ push toward America’s television screens.
Supergirl focuses on Kara Zor-El, Superman’s cousin and another survivor of Krypton. Kara decides to take her Kryptonian powers in-stride and become a hero. The series joins the marvel franchise Agent Carter as a point of female representation in the otherwise male-dominated world of comic books.
