A major creative shift defines Season four, led by Jack Lothian (Who Is Erin Carter?, Strike Back), who steps in as the new lead writer and executive producer, a change highlighted by Variety. Jean Luc Herbulot (Zero, Saloum) joins as the lead director, shaping the tone and visual direction of the upcoming episodes. Additional writers include Kevin Rundle(Hollyoaks, EastEnders), Jerome Bucchan‑Nelson (1899, Top Boy), Meg Salter (The Rig, Shetland) and Abi Hynes (Anne of Green Gables, Dark Harbour), with Herbulot directing alongside Lynsey Miller (Surface, Deadwater Fell) and Eran Creevy (The Gentlemen, Welcome to the Punch).
