According to a Max Press Release, season five of Harley Quinn will release January 16 and will update each episode weekly until March 20 exclusively on Max. Watch the trailer below!
Per the press release, the cast of Harley Quinn includes Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory, Charmed) as Harley, Lake Bell (No Strings Attached, What Happens in Vegas) as Ivy, Aisha Tyler (The Santa Clause 2, Bedtime Stories) as Lena Luthor, Alan Tudyk (Moana, Big Hero 6) as Joker & Clayface, Diedrich Bader (American Housewife, Napoleon Dynamite) as Batman/Bruce Wayne, James Adomian (Love After Love, WordGirl) as Bane, JB Smoove (Almost Christmas, Uncle Drew) as Frank the Plant, Natalie Morales (Dead to Me, No Hard Feelings) as Lois Lane, Stephen Fry (Wilde, Treasure) as Brainiac and Ron Funches (Trolls, Inside Out 2) as King Shark.
The logline of the adult animated series via the press release is as follows: “The fifth season of HARLEY QUINN finds Harley (Kaley Cuoco) and Ivy (Lake Bell) in a new location: Metropolis! – the home of all things Superman, Lois Lane, and the Daily Planet. Harley and Ivy discover that something sinister is at play and all is not what it seems. Looming threats include Lex Luthor and his sister, Lena Luthor, plus fan-favorite Brainiac. But of course, Harley’s crew of misfits and allies will join her on this irreverent journey that takes no prisoners in having fun in the DC sandbox.”
Dean Lorey (Creature Commandos, Arrested Development) is the show’s developer, executive producer and showrunner. Other developers include Patrick Schumaker (Abbott Elementary, Surviving Jack) and Justin Halpern (Surviving Jack, Abbott Elementary).
