With season two of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book Of Carol coming September 29th, three of the show’s leads attended a Comic-Con panel to discuss the new season. Norman Reedus (playing Daryl Dixon), Melissa McBride (playing Carol Peletier), and Louis Puech Scigliuzzi (playing Laurent Carriere) talked about past seasons and future developments for the series.
A large part of the discussion surrounded the reintroduction of Carol back into The Walking Dead world. Melissa McBride’s character will continue her search for Daryl Dixon, focusing entirely on her mission “to find her friend, first and foremost”. McBride shared, “It feels really good to be back as Carol. I missed her”.
Other developments for the show include a new character named “Ash” who will become friends with Carol sometime in the season. It is now known that there will be new types of zombies and references to past The Walking Dead history. The final reveal in the panel was that season three of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book Of Carol is officially confirmed, and will film in Spain. It is clear The Walking Dead franchise isn’t fading out anytime soon, and fans can expect much more content from the series.
Season two of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol premieres Sunday, September 29 at 9 p.m ET on AMC and AMC+.
