Eager fans of Prime Video’s fantasy series The Wheel of Time can get a glimpse at what season two has to offer. According to Prime Video, the hit show is based on the best-selling novels by author Robert Jordan. The second season will be returning to screens on September 1st.
To watch the newly released first scene of The Wheel of Time’s season two, viewers can find the clip at the end of the first season’s finale episode. This is a special bonus surprise for the fans of the show.
This hint towards what is to come in the second season of The Wheel of Time acts like Robert Jordan’s best-selling book series The Wheel of Time, where the first chapter of the next book acts as a preview at the end of each novel. To add on, the preview episode, which is the opening of season two episode one, is an adaption of the “Darkfriend Social” prologue that is in Jordan’s second novel of the series called The Great Hunt. This prologue was a fan favorite, and The Great Hunt is what the second season of The Wheel of Time will be mostly based off of.
The Wheel of Time‘s second season will also take inspiration from Robert Jordan’s third book named The Dragon Reborn. The second season will only be on Prime Video on September 1st. The show will be available to stream in more than 240 countries and territories around the globe. The show was filmed all over the world and included places such as Italy, the Czech Republic, and Morocco. The cast of the show includes actress Rosamund Pike (I Care A Lot, Gone Girl) playing the character Moiraine Damodred, Josha Stradowki (Gran Turismo) as Rand al’thor, Zoë Robins (Power Rangers Ninja Steel) and Daniel Henney (Criminal Minds) as the character Lan Mandragoran.
