Arnold Schwarzenegger (The Terminator, Predator) is getting his own documentary coming to Netflix this summer. The series title, Arnold, will tell the tall tale story of the actor’s career and give a deeper dive into his life.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the docuseries will be a limited time series that will be broken down into three parts. The series will first start off with his early life in Austria and encompass his successful career as a well known bodybuilder. The second part of the series will showcase his breakthrough into Hollywood and his legacy as a cinematic icon, along with his career as a filmmaker. Lastly, the third section will tell his journey of being the governor of California and his role in US politics.
Though there is a bit of a wait till the docuseries comes out, Netflix has recently put out his films such as Conan the Barbarian, Twins, and The Last Action Hero. Hence fans and viewers can quench their anticipation with his most memorable films till the docuseries release.
According to the official Netflix site, the docuseries will be directed by Lesly Chillcott (An Inconvenient Truth) and Allen Hughes (The Defiant Ones) will be the executive producer. Schwarzenegger’s documentary will be released after his first TV series on Netflix, FUBAR, set to premiere on May 25 which will be an action series telling the story of a CIA agent who must complete a dangerous job before his retirement.
Arnold will show Schwarzenegger’s multiple metamorphosis of himself from bodybuilder, to actor, to politician. His ambition for life will be portrayed on the docuseries and leave fans in awe of his larger than life story.
