Vampirina on Disney Junior will have a long list of guest stars for season three, according to Deadline. Adding to the long list of guest stars are Christopher Jackson (Hamilton), Taran Killam (SNL), Audra McDonald (Private Practice), James Monroe Iglehart (Broadway’s Aladdin), Sutton Foster (Younger), Mayim Bialik (The Big Bang Theory), Chris Sullivan (This is Us), Santino Fontana (Frozen), and Pete Gardner (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend).
The Disney Junior series stars Lauren Graham (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist), James Van Der Beek (Dawson’s Creek) and Isabella Crovetti (Magic Camp). They voice a family of friendly vampires that move from Transylvania to Pennsylvania. Vampirina is the main character and follows her story of adjusting to a new place, making friends, and going to a new school with humans.
Many stars have graced the show with their voices, including Henry Winkler (Barry), Donald Faison (Scrubs), Patti LuPone (Hollywood), Andrew Rannells (The Book of Mormon), Jim Rash (Community), Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Wanda Sykes (Black-ish), Ian James Corlett (Dragon Ball Z), and more.
The series was inspired by popular children’s book series Vampirina Ballerina. The books were written by Anne Marie Pace and illustrated by LeUyen Pham. Vampirina premiered on Disney in October 2017 and is produced by Brown Bag Films in association with Disney Junior. Chelsea Beyl (Doc McStuffins) serves as executive producer and story editor with Norton Virgien (The Rugrats Movie) as co-executive producer. Michael Kooman (Romantics Anonymous) and Christopher Dimond (Golden Gate) are Broadway composers whoa re the songwriters for the series and Layla Minoui (Castle) is the composer.
