American Idol winner Candice Glover had an October release date for her debut album. The Hollywood Reporter has learned that the release date has been pushed back.

Glover’s album’s October 8 release date is now set for February 18. She is the first Idol winner since Kelly Clarkson to release a debut album in the year following the Idol win.

“I know it’s taking a bit longer than expected to get my album out, but I have been working hard in the studio with some amazing people, and I want to get it just right for you guys!” Glover said in a press release distributed Monday.
