The executive producer and showrunner of Blue Bloods, Kevin Wade, has signed an agreement with CBS television studios, announced Deadline.
The deal made is an overall agreement which includes Wade staying with the Blue Bloods project as it begins its fourth season this fall. The crime drama surrounds a family of New York cops and stars Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes and Len Cariou. Blue Bloods has been nominated for one Prime-time Emmy.
Wade has been show-runner of the series since 2011, and has previously written and produced television series Cashmere Mafia, as well as popular films “Meet Joe Black” and “Maid in Manhattan”, according to IMDB.
Wade’s deal with CBS comes after Blue Bloods has ranked as Friday’s most watched program, as well as number four in all prime-time dramas.
