Deadline has confirmed that Fox has canceled sophomore show Rosewood after an extremely low-rated second season.

Series star Morris Chestnut confirmed the news on Twitter, posting a tweet that contained his goodbye from his Instagram account.

Despite a decently rated first season, which was boosted by airing before Empire, Fox made the decision to move the show to Thursday nights for the most current TV season, causing a decrease in ratings. About halfway through the season, Fox moved the show to Friday nights, where ratings for the show continued to fall.

Overall, the show’s second season has been watched by about 3 million people and averaged only a 0.7 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. According to TV by the Numbers, the show’s finale, which aired on Apr. 28, was watched by 2.96 million viewers and scored a 0.5 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic.

The series stars Chestnut as Dr. Beaumont Rosewood Jr., a private pathologist located in Miami, Florida who is incredibly popular with some of the law enforcement officers that he works alongside. Jaina Lee Curtis, Gabrielle Dennis, Anna Konkle and Domenick Lombardozzi were some of the other stars on the show, with Eddie Cibrian joining the cast for the second season.

This is the second cancellation Fox has made in the last week after canceling freshman drama Pitch last Monday.
