Wrecked, the upcoming ensemble comedy series just released a new teaser titled “Mayhem:”
Watch the hilarious teaser below:
The 30-second teaser starts off by revealing a deserted island and the destroyed plane as one survivor runs around frantically while shooting bullets in the air (a little wasteful). And there are people scattered around, lots of screaming, a guy trying to get signal on his cell phone, and someone is on fire. But everyone hasn’t lost their cool, there’s one lady at the end of the teaser who already appears to be adjusting to life as a stranded person. She casually drops her next meal (a dead pig) on the ground and begins to skin the boar.
According to TV Series Finale, Wrecked is sorta like if Lost and Gilligan’s Island had a child.
As the teaser suggests, TBS’s (a division of Turner) Wrecked is about a group of strangers who are stranded on a deserted island after a plane crash. The single-camera comedy series centers on a diverse group of survivors adjusting to life on an uninhabited island. It’s a crazy new world where they face multiple threats which are mostly brought on by themselves. With no connection to the rest of the world, the group struggles with their limited items and have to make do with a lack of indoor plumbing, Wi-Fi, and social media. The ensemble comedy will debut its episodes back-to-back.
The cast for Wrecked includes Zach Cregger (About a Boy, Miss March), Rhys Darby (What We Do in the Shadows, Yes Man), Jessica Lowe (Blended, Glitch), Asif Ali (The 4 to 9ers: The Day Crew, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Ally Maki (2 Broke Girls, Hot in Cleveland), Will Greenberg (Cloverfield, Halt and Catch Fire), Brooke Dillman (Superbad, Bob’s Burgers), Ginger Gonzaga (Ted, The Morning After), and Brian Sacca (The Wolf of Wall Street, Single Dads).
The comedy series comes from executive producers and writers Justin Shipley & Jordan Shipley along with producer Jesse Hara (Night Owls, Happythankyoumoreplease). Moses Port (Community, Happy Endings) serves as showrunner and executive producer for Wrecked.
You can catch TBS’s Wrecked when it premieres on Tuesday, June 14 at 10 p.m.
