
Fans of high-octane espionage thrillers are celebrating the success of the breakout hit series Secret Service, which has attracted 41 millions of viewers since its April release after finally securing a streaming home. According to Screenrant, the true standout of the five-part series is lead actor Gemma Arterton (Clash of the Titans, The King’s Man), who delivers a compelling performance as MI6 officer Kate Henderson—a role that plunges her into a deadly conspiracy where unearthing the truth exposes catastrophic danger.
The official synopsis of the series provided by Screenrant described Kate’s current dilemna,“With trust shattered and her career on the line, Kate must navigate the shifting sands of political loyalty, international threat, and personal sacrifice as she races to uncover their identity before it’s too late.”
The Global Head of MGM+’s, Michael Wright gives a statement in an interview with Screenrant regarding the new spy series, “Secret Service is an exciting addition to the MGM+ slate. Tom Bradby and Jemma Kennedy’s adaptation, directed by Oscar-winner James Marsh and featuring star turns from Gemma Arterton, Rafe Spall, and Alex Kingston, delivers on the MGM+ promise of classic Hollywood storytelling for a modern audience. Arterton even gave her own personal statement with Screenrant, back when the the series first announced back in March 2025 ,“I am delighted to be stepping into the world of such a topical and gripping espionage thriller with this talented creative team. Collaborating with Tom Bradby, Jemma Kennedy, James Marsh, and the remarkable production team at Potboiler is incredibly exciting. I can’t wait to bring this story to life alongside the outstanding cast.”
At the moment the premiere date of when Secret Service will be accessible on MGM+ has not ben announced and currently in progress, but once it is all episode will be available to stream.
