According to The Hollywood Reporter, FX has officially revealed the first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated 13th season of its long-running original series American Horror Story. From Ryan Murphy (Glee, The Beauty) and Brad Falchuk (Famous Last Words, The Brothers Sun), the trailer includes the horror franchise’s most beloved stars and characters returning.

Below is the teaser trailer for the 13th season of  American Horror Story.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, the trailer shows Twisty the Clown played by John Carroll Lynch (The Founder, Fargo), who was part of season four’s Freak Show. The trailer also showcases returning cast members such as Evan Peters (Tron: Ares, Mare of Easttown) as Kai Anderson from Cult, Jessica Lange (King Kong, Frances) as Constance Langdon from Murder House, Sarah Paulson (Bird Box, Run) as Cordelia Goode, Angela Bassett (Black Panther, 9-1-1) as Marie Laveau and Emma Roberts (Wild Child, Scream Queens) as Madison Montgomery, all from season three’s Coven. Paul Anthony Kelly from Murphy’s Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. is also seen in the trailer.

“Everybody thinks it’s a Coven season and it’s not. It’s all the seasons,” Murphy a month earlier told Entertainment Tonight via The Hollywood Reporter. “Sarah Paulson is playing six or seven roles. Jessica Lange is playing all four of her iconic characters. Evan Peters is playing five characters. … It is like the Avengers. They all come together to defeat the ultimate evil.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cast of the 13th season also includes Kathy Bates (Misery, Matlock), Billie Lourd (Ticket to Paradise, Booksmart), Gabourey Sidibe (Grimsby, Empire), Leslie Grossman (Popular, The Good Place), Joey Pollari (Skyrunners, Eden), Avantika, Jamie Brewer (Cherry, Turnover), Elle Chapman (The Madison, The Love Suite), Berto Colon (Tallulah, Inside Game), Alex Consani (Peaked, The Tiger), Frances Conroy (Catwoman, Joker), Mat Fraser (CripTales, Helen of Troy), Seth Gabel (Fringe, Solemates), Orlando Jones (Drumline, Biker Boyz), Tig Notaro (Tig, Instant Family), Madelaine Petsch (Riverdale, Sightless), Fedor Steer (Doctor Sleep, The Haunting), Mena Suvari (American Pie, Loser), Zach Villa (Good Mourning, All Souls) and John Waters (Serieal Mom, Polyester).
