

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney+ announces the air date for the second season of its biggest Korean streaming series, A Shop for Killers. The series will be returning on July 22, continuing where Jeong Ji-an who is positioned as the new head of Murthehelp, the online storefront that secretly arms killers, and her uncle Jeong Jin-man , who faked his death in the first season to flush out his enemies, back at her side. Lee Kwon (Door Lock, Attack on the Pin-Up Boys) will be returning to direct and co-write the new batch of episodes with Ji Ho-jin (Newtopia).
A Shop for Killers is an intense action-thriller from South Korea that follows the journey of Jeong Ji-an. After the sudden and mysterious death of her uncle, Ji-an finds herself pursued by assassins, and as she investigates the circumstances of his demise, she uncovers a startling revelation. Her uncle, a former mercenary, was running a secret dark web operation called Murthehelp, focusing on weapons and logistics.
The cast of the series includes Lee Dong-wook (Hotel King, Land of Wine) as Jeong Jin-man, Kim Hye-jun (Another Child, A Wonderful Sight) as Jeong Ji-an, Jo Han-sun (Cruel Winter Blues, Romance of Their Own) as Bale, Kim Hae-na (Yangchigi) as So Min-hye, Seo Hyun-woo (The Man Standing Next, A Taxi Driver) as Lee Seong-jo, Gina Su as Jeong Ji An and many others.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, A Shop for Killers is currently ranked as Disney+’s most-watched Asia Pacific original of 2024, until the Korean series Light Shop overtook it that December. The new season of A Shop for Killers will have a total of eight episodes and will air two on July 22, with two new episodes every Wednesday until August 12. The series is part of a run of K-drama second seasons that Disney+ has in the works this year. Other K-dramas on the streamer include Made in Korea, Moving and many others.
