Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building has added several new guest stars for its upcoming sixth season. According to Deadline, Jennifer Saunders (Absolutely Fabulous, Shrek 2, Minions), Sean Teale (Rosaline, The Gifted, Little Voice), Simone Ashley (The Devil Wears Prada 2, Bridgerton, Sex Education), Amar Chadha-Patel (Willow, The Creator, Slip), Rhea Norwood (Heartstopper, Consent, Your Christmas or Mine 2), Matthew Beard (The Imitation Game, One Day, The Testament of Ann Lee), and Sharon Horgan (Catastrophe, This Way Up, Game Night) have joined the Hulu comedy in recurring guest star roles. 

While specific plot details for season six remain under wraps, the upcoming installment is expected to continue the mystery introduced during the season five finale. The season will also mark the first time the series has filmed outside of the United States, with production currently taking place in the United Kingdom.

The series stars Steve Martin (Three Amigos, Cheaper by the Dozen, Father of the Bride), Martin Short (Father of the Bride, Innerspace, Inherent Vice), and Selena Gomez (Wizards of Waverly Place, Spring Breakers, Hotel Transylvania) as amateur crime-solving trio Charles, Oliver, and Mabel. Michael Cyril Creighton (Spotlight, American Fiction, High Maintenance) is also set to return to the series. 

Season five featured an extensive guest cast that included Meryl Streep (The Devil Wears Prada, Mamma Mia!, Out of Africa), Da’Vine Joy Randolph (The Holdovers, Eternity, The Lost City), Richard Kind (Argo, Inside Out, A Serious Man), Nathan Lane (The Producers, The Birdcage, The Lion King), Bobby Cannavale (Ant-Man, Parker, Old Dads), Renée Zellweger (Chicago, Cold Mountain, Bridget Jones’s Diary), Logan Lerman (The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Fury, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief), Christoph Waltz (Carnage, Frankenstein, Dracula), Téa Leoni (The Family Man, Jurassic Park III, Bad Boys), Keegan-Michael Key (Wonka, Keanu, The Super Mario Bros. Movie), Beanie Feldstein (Booksmart, Lady Bird, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising), Dianne Wiest (The Birdcage, Hannah and Her Sisters, Edward Scissorhands), and Jermaine Fowler (Sorry to Bother You, Coming 2 America, The Drop). 

Created by Martin and John Hoffman (Grace and Frankie, Looking, Good Boy), Only Murders in the Building follows three neighbors who bond over their shared fascination with true crime before launching a podcast dedicated to solving murders connected to their New York apartment building. 

Season six is currently filming and is expected to premiere on Hulu at a later date.
