

Netflix has officially renewed A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder for a third and final season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the upcoming installment will adapt “As Good As Dead”, the third novel in Holly Jackson’s (“Not Quite Dead Yet,” “Five Survive,” “Kill Joy”) bestselling trilogy.
The series stars Emma Myers (Wednesday, A Minecraft Movie, The Angry Birds Movie 3) as Pip Fitz-Amobi, a teenager who becomes determined to uncover the truth behind a local murder case. Season two, which premiered on May 27, followed Pip as she investigated the disappearance of a friend’s brother, while the upcoming season will bring the adaptation to its conclusion.
Jackson, who also serves as an executive producer on the series, expressed excitement about adapting the final novel. She described “As Good As Dead” as her favorite installment of the trilogy. The author also teased a darker and more intense final chapter for Pip’s story.
Myers also celebrated the renewal, thanking fans for their support and revealing that “As Good As Dead” is also her favorite installment in the trilogy. The actress stated that portraying Pip has been one of the most memorable experiences of her career and expressed excitement about bringing the final story to life.
Returning cast members include Zain Iqbal (All Crazy Random, Why ME?), Henry Ashton (A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, My Lady Jane, Outlander), Asha Banks (The Magic Flute, Dickens: Phantoms and Fiction, My Fault: London), Jude Morgan-Collie (Here We Go, Terminator: Dark Fate, Autopsy: The Last Hours of), Eden H Davies (Slaughter, Tell Me Everything), and Yali Topol Margalith (Finding Emily, House of David, The Tattooist of Auschwitz).
Produced by Moonage Pictures, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is executive produced by Jackson, Myers, director Tom Vaughan (So Undercover, What Happens in Vegas, Starter for 10), Matthew Read (Peaky Blinders, The Neon Demon, Watership Down), Simon Crawford Collins (MI-5, Mystic, Hustle), and Frith Tiplady (Peaky Blinders, The Famous Five, Ripper Street).
Season three has already completed production and is scheduled to premiere on Netflix in 2027.
