Deadline has reported that All-American is coming to a close, and CW has just released the trailer for the final season. The characters all reach turning points in their lives as the long-running series reaches its climax.  Watch the trailer below.

Spoiler alert for the following information. In the season 7 finale, Cassius is discovered to be Jordan’s cousin. His decision to join Beverly’s coaching staff had ulterior motives. Jordan wants to tarnish the family legacy by going after his uncle Billy Baker’s records. By the Time Jordan found out Cassius had a change of heart none the less Jordan was still hurt by the revelation. 

Season 8 is set six months after the events of the finale. The characters have had time to come to grips with the discovery and appear to have at least partially come to terms with it. Although the fallout is yet to be seen. Cassius is facing difficulties at Beverly, and Jordan is considering changing his career trajectory.

The Teen cast is dealing with secrets. In the trailer, it is implied that Amina may be hiding something. At the end of last season, she chose to attend boarding school. Spencer and Olivia will appear as guest stars in the final season. The couple is expecting twin girls, and their life is set to undergo changes of a different nature. 

The cast featured in the trailer includes Daniel Ezra (The Running Man, Blood Cells), Samantha Logan (13 Reasons Why, The Empty Man), Alexis Chikaez (Miss Juneteenth, Rap Sh!t), and Osy Ikhile (Black Mirror, Heavyweight). The trailer briefly mentions the upcoming special, All American: The Final Season Special. The Special gives exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the making of the series featuring interviews with the cast. . The series is set to air on July 13th with a two-hour season premiere. The special will air several weeks prior to June 22nd.
