CBC’s cop drama Saint-Pierre has been renewed for a third season. We will see a continuation of Inspector Donny Fitzpatrick and his fight against crime.

For those who don’t know, Saint-Pierre is a show that follows a disgraced Newfoundland police inspector and a headstrong Parisian deputy chief who must work together and solve crimes in the crime ridden French archipelago of Saint-Pierre. According to Deadline, the showrunners Allan Hawco (Soul’s Road, Youngblood) and Robina-Lord Stafford (Wild Cards, Macy Murdoch) had this to say regarding the third season, “‘We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support from CBC, our incredible partners at Fifth Season, and the worldwide fans who have embraced the show from the very beginning,’ said series creators Allan Hawco and Robina Lord-Stafford. ‘Returning to Newfoundland and Saint-Pierre et Miquelon for Season 3 is especially exciting, as these locations are such an important part of the show’s identity. We’re looking forward to building on the momentum of the first two seasons and bringing audiences even more of the mystery, unexpected twists, and character dynamics that make this world so special.’”
