This episode begins with Sam being examined by medics, and insisting he saw something, while Jack’s body is taken away. After having a nightmare involving Lily, Sam wakes up to a call from his daughter, asking why he didn’t tell her about Edward.
Renee then exercises with some of the other ladies, talking about Jack’s memorial. Bringing up a previous memorial at a chess club, one of the ladies, Betty, then asks if they replace half a chess set, since a chess set given to her by her daughter is suddenly missing all of its white pieces (made of quartz, like Renee’s rocks).
We then see Sam at the Manor talking to Edward about the owls in the walls. It goes nowhere at first, but eventually, he gets Edward to say he needs the key in the light. After being informed about Judy’s affair with Jack by Art (who knew about it), Renee and Wally talk about his doctor’s appointment while looking for coffins.
Judy tells Sam about Jack’s memorial, and asks if Jack went in peace, since he was the last one to see him. She then gives him back the hammer he used to break in, now suspicious of him. Sam then goes to each light, unscrewing and taking them out of the wall to try and find something. While washing his hands, he finds a key in the bathroom mirror light.
Renee then talks with the security guard about the suspect in the quartz thievery, who turned out to be a bullshit lie from Hank. The two then decide to put up some security cameras to try and catch the thief. Sam heads to the storage unit location on the key and finds a taxidermy owl in a locked box in the unit.
He brings it to his home and watches a movie, when suddenly, a light appears in his home. Sam brings Wally into his house to show him the substance, the blood of the creature that killed Jack. Wally doesn’t believe him at first, but Sam’s experiment proves to him that something is going on.

This episode was also good, and better than the first. The ending leaves much to speculation and interest about why the blood does what it does. Maybe it’s a big read, but could it be used to help Wally? Since he called it a miracle, it seems like it could be engineered to heal. Just thinking.
