Peacock has officially announced fall premiere dates for several upcoming television projects, including season two of The Paper, the Friday the 13th prequel series Crystal Lake, and the crime drama The Good Daughter. Season two of The Paper will premiere in September and is created by Greg Daniels (The Office, Parks and Recreation) and Michael Koman (Nathan for You, Saturday Night Live). The mockumentary comedy exists within the same universe as NBC’s The Office starring Steve Carell (Despicable Me, The Morning Show) and follows the documentary crew that previously filmed the employees of Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch.
In the new series, the crew discovers a struggling Toledo newspaper called The Truth Teller while searching for a new documentary subject. The series stars Domhnall Gleeson (Ex Machina About Time), Sabrina Impacciatore (The Last Kiss, The White Lotus), Chelsea Frei (The Moodys, The Addams Family), Melvin Gregg (Snowfall, The Way Back), Gbemisola Ikumelo (Famalam, Brain in Gear), Alex Edelman (Unfrosted, Teenage Bounty Hunters), Ramona Young (Never Have I Ever, Blockers), and Tim Key (The Ballad of Wallis Island, The Double). Additional cast members include William Catlett (Forever, Abigail), Devin Kessler (Godfather of Harlem, Juicy), Cameron Scoggins (Caddo Lake, Shades of Blue), and Gwendolyn Sundstrom (Life Cycle 63, I’m Beginning to See the Light). The series is expected to follow Pamela Voorhees before the events of the original films as she deals with the loss of her son after sacrificing her singing career to raise him.

The series is also produced by A24, Marc Toberoff (Prey, Fantasy Island), Victor Miller (Friday the 13th, All My Children), Robert M. Barsamian (Friday the 13th: The Game, Sweet Revenge), Robert P.
