Things are about to get heated now that Netflix has dropped an official teaser for Devil May Cry season two. Not only will we see Dante again, but we will also see his brother Vergil in all of his glory.

For those who don’t know, Devil May Cry is a television series based off of the video game franchise under the same name. Our story began with Dante a person who is half human and half demon. Dante is also a bit of a wisecracker. In the last season Dante was thrown into a fight against the White Rabbit who needed his necklace in order to exact vengeance against humanity. Assisting him on his journey is a female soldier named Lady, who also has a score to settle with the White Rabbit. Near the end of the series the White Rabbit was defeated and the Vice President of the United States, Baines, sent the U.S. Army to take down any remaining demons and take down Hell. However, we were given a glimpse of Dante’s brother, Vergil. In the teaser we are shown the brothers fighting each other from childhood to adulthood. We hear Dante keep the promise that he made to his mother: “Don’t worry Mom. I’ll get him back.” We will get a chance to see how different and alike the brothers truly are.

Johnny Yong Bosch (Hellfire, Trigun Stargaze), Scout Taylor-Compton (Speed Train, Dead Giveaway), Hoon Lee (Your Friends & Neighbors, Warrior), Kevin Conroy (Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three, MultiVersus), Chris Coppola (Invincible Fight Girl, Ted), Benjamin Abiola (Vigilante, Who’s Gonna Know?), Kari Wahlgren (Invincible, American Dad!), Roger Jackson (Scream 7, Jellystone), Jason Marnocha (Jump Leads, The Gaslight District), Robbie Daymond (Rooster Fighter, Wylde Pak), Erica Lindbeck (Smiling Friends, The Outer Worlds 2), and Sunkrish Bala (General Hospital, Drawn Together).

The second season will premiere on May 12, 2026. It’s not too late to binge the first season of the series on Netflix in order to get caught up.
