

According to Deadline, the Israeli television thriller, Unconditional, was picked up by Apple TV. Adam Bizanski (The Shins: Pink Bullets, Shadow Puppets) and Dana Idisis (As We See It, Here We Are) are the creators of Unconditional. The series will premiere on Apple TV on Friday, May 8, 2026, with the first two episodes and an additional episode dropping every week through June 19, 2026.
Unconditional is about a mother and her daughter on vacation that turns out to be a nightmare. Liraz Chamani (Bad Boy, Broken Ties), who portrays Orna, the mother, learns that her 23-year-old daughter, Gali, played by newcomer Talia Lynne Ronn, is arrested for drug smuggling in Moscow. Orna refuses to accept the charges against her daughter. The series follows the mother-daughter duo as they fight for Gali’s freedom and uncover crime and corruption.
Deadline also mentions the all-star Israeli cast ensemble includes, French-Israeli singer and songwriter, Amir Haddad (The Baker and the Beauty, La Fete de la chanson francaise), Yossi Marchek (The Jews Are Coming, Ki at mehueret), Evgenia Dodina (Share in the World to Come, The Most Beautiful Day), and Vladimir Friedman (My Name is Dania, A Simple Wish).
Unconditional was publicly announced by Keshet a few years ago, as Deadline reported in February 2025. Keshet’s distribution boss, Kelly Wright, described the series as “its most ambitious drama in terms of budget and scale.” Written and directed by Johnathan Gurfinkle (Papya-Don’t Look Back, Aviram Katz), Unconditional is produced via Spiro Films’ Eitan Mansuri (It’s Good to Die for Your Country, The Best Worst Thing) and Jonathon Doweck (The Best Worst Thing, The Taste of Apples Is Red). They will executive produce alongside Biznski and Idisis, Keshet Media’s Avi Nir, Keshet 12’s Yuval Horowitz (Family Portrait, Ronnie & Tom), Karni Ziv (The Brave, Dig) and Eze Sackson and Keshet International’s Keren Shahar (Total Control, Family Reservations).
