

According to Deadline the Netflix drama series, Poser just added Sadie Stanley (47 Meters down: The Wreck, At The Gates) to their regular cast members. The creator was the drama Lauren Lungerich (On My Block, Tough Cookie).
Poser is an eight-episode emotional thriller that centers around a toxic friendship between two former best friends. One of the firends is given a chance to live their desired life. This one friend finds her self on a psychological journey of revenge, betrayal and heartbreak. Eventually, changing her life and those around her forever. Stanley will be portraying the beautiful Emmy Hunter who dreams of being the next “it girl”. Deadline noted from a source that is close to production.
According to Deadline Stanley first appeared in the Disney Channels 2019 film Kim Possible, and a reoccurring role in The Goldberg’s which aired on ABC and than than she landed a leading role in the 2023 film Cruel Summer that was shown on the streaming channel Freeform. Other television credits include, Dead To Me, which is also a Netflix show and CBS’s Criminal Minds. Deadline also added that Stanley had numerous film credits as well as her recent television credits. She can be seen next in Pretty Babies, where she will be playing opposite of Ashley Benson (Pledge Trip, Angry Neighbors), Emily Alyn Lind (We Are Liars, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire), and Madelaine Petsch (The Strangers: Chapter 3, Hotel of the Holidays). Stanley is represented by Thruline Entertainment, Gersh, and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, and Smelkinson.
Lungerich is not only the creator of Poser, but also the writer and showrunner of the drama. Deadline reported that Poser will be part of a deal that Lungerich and Jamie Dooner (Awkward, Webisodes, Boo, Bitch) has with Netflix. Dooner is also one of the executive producers along with her production company, The Crazy Cat Lady Productions.
