Exciting news has have arrived in the scene surrounding Henry Cavill’s (Enola Holmes, Man of Steel) long-anticipated Warhammer 40,000 television project has finally offered its first real glimpse. According to Screenrant, while little is known about the plot for the series, it is highly likely to follow the same premise of the tabletop which is earth is in ruin and humanity is currently battling in a war against hostile aliens consisting of Orks, Tyranids, and Necrons, as well as the demonic forces of chaos.

The caption of post goes on to state,” for 30 years i have dreamt of seeing a Warhammer universe in live action. Now after 22 years of experience in this industry, i finally feel that i have the skill set and experience to guide a Warhammer Cinematic Universe to life.”

In accordance with Screenrant, casting details remain mostly under wraps, but the tease confirms a blend of extraordinary and established actors, with Cavill seeming to take a central role. The series surely has wide range characters and factions to bring to live such as the Space Marines, Imperial Guards and the Primarchs. The tabletop game is lore rich and this allows the production team to discover new ways of how to deliver an exciting narrative, while staying true to the source material given.
