

HBO Max expands to eight European Territories among a new Prime Video deal. The Deal is to go live February sixth to the 22nd with shows, news, and movies.
Variety reports on a deal with Germany’s RTL and HBO Max which will be available on Waipu.tv. They have also struck deals in Switzerland with Sunrise and Swisscom, and in Italy, customers have TIM platform and HBO Max access, adding on to the many other news and other apps they have.
As previously stated, viewers in territories above will be able to enjoy content from HBO, Warner Bros. Pictures, Warner Bros. Television, the DC Universe and Max Originals all in one place. Popular shows include The Pitt, It: Welcome to Derry, House of the Dragon, The Last of Us, The White Lotus, and Euphoria, and movies include Superman, The Batman, Dune and the Harry Potter franchise. They plan on adding many news, shows, and movies and expanding as time goes on.
“It is exciting to kick off the new year by expanding into some of the biggest economies in the world, as we continue to deliver HBO Max to new viewers,” said JB Perrette, CEO and president of global streaming and games at Warner Bros. Discovery. “Next up is the launch of HBO Max in the U.K. and Ireland in late March, which will complete HBO Max’s roll out across Europe.”
So far, views have gone up and so have the quality in programs, the viewers seem very content with the streaming services so far.
