Stated by Screenrant, it was revealed by Netflix that the supernatural series has been watch 1.2 billion times by viewers worldwide. The series has been widely recognized having won 70 awards which include outstanding casting and 230 nominations. The factors that have Stranger Things popular is due to fusion of the 90’s with the supernatural elements, which makes for one enjoyable ride.
Screenrant states, recent data reveals that Stranger Things value has contributed more than 1.4 billion into the US GPD, generated over 8,000 jobs in production and aid 2,000 vendors.
Reported by Screenrant, the most rewatched scenes of the series were season four, episode seven in which Nancy, played by Natalia Dyer (Velvet Buzzsaw, Chesnut), who fell under the possession of Vecna, played by Jamie Campbell Bower (Witchboard, Camelot). Another episodes that has been widely recognized is the eight episode of the third season, in which Dustin, played by Gaten Matarazzo (My Father’s Dragon, Prank Encounter) starts singing with Suzie, played by Gabriella Pizzolo (Butterbean’s Cafe, Nightingale).
According to Screenrant, the series also brought back nostalgia with release of retro songs, such as ” Running Up That Hill” by Kate Bush, which saw a 1,250% increase since with Gen Z worldwide since its debut. This song stood out the most because it was favorited by Max, played by Sadie Sink (Fear Street Part One: 1994, The Whale), who is a pivotal character within the final season. Even the iconic Dungeons & Dragons game got a major growth boost with an impressive 673%.
