According to Collider, Kathryn Hahn (Agatha All Along, Bad Moms) gives an update on Apple TV’s The Studio. Hahn plays the role of Maya Mason who is chaotic, dubiously good at her job. During a new FYC interview with Collider’s Taylor Gates, Hahn was asked if her character of Maya would rock a Labubu? and could she ever be caught uttering the chronically online phrase “6-7”?
She told Gates in the interview via Collider, “I feel like by the time we see her — heaven forbid, I’m not wishing this on anyone — but the Labubu might be in the past. In terms of 6-7, it would be amazing if she started spouting that, although that might also be in the past, too, which is why both of these things should be uttered by her in Season 2.”
As per Collider, the second season of The Studio production rumors — specifically, that the comedy might film in New York and Venice. This will expand the series beyond the Hollywood-set current setting. When asked whether she could tease locations or storyline details, Hahn was delighted but careful, responding.
Hahn responded, via Collider, “Oh god, I wish there was anything I could tease. I know that he was spotted in Venice, and I know that my passport is up to date, so I’m willing to go anywhere. Both of those things sound really, really ripe, because we’ve only really seen them in Hollywoodland, so it would be very interesting to see. As you know, a member of the press, that you’ve got a lot of stuff to do — junkets and da da da da. There’s a lot of stuff, so who knows? I know nothing specifically, but that seems ripe for the next season.”
According to Collider, The Studio follows Matt Remick, a newly appointed head of a film production company called Continental Studios. Through the first season of the series, Matt realizes that he might be in over his head. The series includes a multitude of cameos from many celebrities.
