

Prime Video introduces audiences to a new series called 56 Days. The series is based off of the novel written by Catherine Ryan Howard (56 Days, The Nothing Man). The novel follows two characters Oliver and Ciara who meet and fall for each other almost instantly. However fifty-six days later, police investigators find an unidentified body in Oliver’s apartment. The series will be an erotic thriller that will intercut between the present day investigation and the past of the young lovers’ affair.




According to the Prime Video press release, the series will be written and produced by Lisa Zwerling (The Rook, When We Rise), along with James Wan (True Haunting, The Conjuring: Last Rites), Michael Clear (M3GAN 2.0, The Monkey), and Rob Hackett (Teacup, The Magic Order) will also help with producing the series. The series will be produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Atomic Monster. The creative executive at Atomic Monster Danielle Bozzone (Salem’s Lot, The Nun II) will oversee the series on behave of the company and Howard will serve as co-executive producer of the series.




The cast of this series consists of Dove Cameron (Big Nate, Schmigadoon!) who plays Ciara Wyse, Avan Jogia (Orphan Black: Echoes, Choose Love) who plays Oliver Kennedy, Megan Pete Hill (The Irrational, Boot Camp) who plays Shyla, Karla Souza (Voy a pasármelo mejor, Technoboys) who plays Lee Reardon, Dorian Missick (Shirley, The Burial) who plays Karl Connolly, Patch Darragh (Murdaugh: Death in the Family, Birthrite) who plays Dan Troxler, Alfredo Narciso (Stumble, One Stupid Thing) who plays Elliot Berhane, Jennifer Ferrin (Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, Evil) who plays Kristi, Kira Guloien (The Gringo Hunters, Brilliant Minds) who plays Jane Miller, David Klein (Boston Blue, Sheriff Country) who plays Declan Kelly, and Anthony Therrien (Out Standing, Sapins) who plays Officer Anthony ‘Nix’.




The series is set to premiere on February 18, 2026. We will have to stay tuned for any future teasers and updates regarding the series.
