Here are the first-look images of the series that Prime Video has released.

According to Prime Video, season two of The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy is created by Cirocco Dunlap (Russian Doll, Everything is Okay). Dunlap is also credited as showrunner, executive producer and writer. The show is executively produced by Maya Rudolph (Bridesmaids, Saturday Night Live), Natasha Lyonne (Orange is the New Black, American Pie) and Danielle Renfrew Behrens (Night Comes On, Lucky) for Animal Pictures, Shannon Prynoski (Her, Big Mouth), Chris Prynoski (Motorcity, Downtown), Shauna McGarry (Tuca & Bertie, Katy Keene), Antonio Canobbio (Pantheon, Scavengers Reign), and Ben Kalina (Big Mouth, Kiff) from Titmouse. Prime Video also states that Artist and animator Robin Eisenberg will co-produce and serve as production designer.

Prime Video lists the show’s cast as Stephanie Hsu (Everything Everywhere All at Once, The Path), Keke Palmer (One of Them Days, Nope), Kieran Culkin (A Real Pain, Succession), Sam Smith (Spectre), Maya Rudolph (Loot, Bridesmaids), and Natasha Lyonne (Poker Face, American Pie). The series also features Tracee Ellis Ross (American Fiction, Black-ish), Abbi Jacobson (Broad City, Disenchantment), Andrew Dismukes (Saturday Night Live, Call Me Brother), Bowen Yang (Saturday Night Live, Fire Island), Gary Anthony Williams (Night Court, Batman: Caped Crusader), Lennon Parham (Minx, Playing House), Jay Ellis (Top Gun: Maverick, Insecure), Kemah Bob (Springleaf, Fully Blown), and John Waters (Hairspray, 2:22).
