An exciting update has been revealed for the approaching second season of Prime Video’s Fallout, and the series star Ella Purnell (Arcane) teases the surprising twists that await viewers. According to Screenrant, the series is based on the video game with the same name, and follows the journey of Lucy Maclean, played by Purnell, who crosses the apocalyptic wasteland to rescue her father and along the way meets enemies and allies. We later find out that it was Vault-Tec behind the description of the entire world.
Ella goes on to state her excitement in an interview with Screenrant at MegaCon,”It’s going to be really good, I think. It’s a wild ride. It’s a wild ride. I’m really exhausted. We’re working really well to get it out on time.” She continues ,”I’m excited. I think no one’s going to be able to predict what happens. There’s some big twists this time around. Yeah, it’s so fun.”
According to Deadline, it is not only Purnell that is getting excited for the second season, as we get an update by the Ghoul himself, Walter Goggins (Sons of Anarchy), who goes on to state “We’re in the middle of filming it right now, we’ve been at it since November, and I can tell you that I thought Season 1 was extraordinary, personally, I was very pleased with it.”
He continues his statement with, “This blows it out of the water, what these writers have done and the artisans that have come together to tell this story. It’s really gonna be something. I can’t wait for people to see it. We’re working really hard to make that happen.”
According to Screenrant, the twist of the second season could help solve the unanswered mysteries, such as the location of the Ghoul’s family or the true objective of Hank Maclean, played by Kyle MacLachlan (Dune), who was last seen heading towards a mysterious compound within New York City. While fans await further information surrounding the release of the second season, the entire first of Fallout is available to stream on Prime Video.
