According to Deadline, Abbott Elementary is being renewed for season five. The show is usually the first to be renewed early and because of the recent renewal, it secured a spot on the 2025-2026 schedule. The television series had the students announce the information in a video instead of the cast.
The It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia crossover episode aired January 8 and had a total of 8.05 million viewers. The viewers were mainly adults ages 18-49 that viewed the show on many platforms. The numbers were given by the first seven days on Hulu and Disney+’s Hulu. As stated by Deadline, the series’ season four airs on ABC Wednesdays and streams the following day on Hulu. Tomorrow, a new episode will air that will follow the Abbott teachers using a hybrid learning system because city buses stopped running due to a strike and many students were absent at school. Mxdwn has covered the teaser, trailer, a cut storyline of Mr. Johnson and Frank and a character plot twist of the It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia and Abbott Elementary crossover.
